privacy & cookies.
Last updated: 20 October 2026
The short version
- We only collect what you give us in our forms, plus analytics cookies if you say yes.
- We use it to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver our work.
- We never sell your data, and we won't add you to marketing emails without your permission.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@novixdigital.co.uk.
1. Who we are
Novix Digital ("Novix", "we", "us") is a UK digital marketing business run by Titus Gayle. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website, which means we decide how it's used and we're responsible for looking after it.
Contact for anything privacy related: hello@novixdigital.co.uk.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
When you complete our fit check or free website review form, we collect:
- your name, business name, mobile number and email address;
- your website address, if you share it;
- your answers about your business: your trade, where your work comes from, what you need help with, a rough budget and when you'd like to start.
If you become a client, we'll also hold the details needed to deliver our services and invoice you.
Information collected automatically
Only if you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors find and use the site and to measure our ads. This can include your device and browser type, approximate location (city level), pages visited and how you arrived. If you reject cookies, none of this is collected.
Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and time of visit) to keep the site secure and working.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (UK GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and preparing a plan or website review you asked for | Steps you've asked us to take before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Delivering our services if you become a client, and invoicing | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Keeping financial and tax records | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) |
| Analytics and advertising cookies | Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) |
| Keeping the website secure | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
Our fit check suggests a next step based on your answers, but a person reviews every enquiry. We do not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects using automated processing alone.
4. Marketing
We will only contact you about the enquiry you made. We won't send you marketing emails or texts unless you've clearly agreed to receive them, and every message will include an easy way to opt out.
5. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract:
- Hostinger: website hosting and email;
- Google (Sheets): to store your enquiry securely;
- Our email provider: to receive and reply to your messages;
- Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (Pixel): only if you accept cookies.
We may also disclose data if required by law, for example to HMRC or in response to a valid legal request.
6. International transfers
Some of these providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK-US Data Bridge for certified organisations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't go ahead: deleted within 12 months of your last contact with us.
- Client records: kept for 6 years after our work ends, to meet tax and accounting rules.
- Analytics data: kept for up to 14 months.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access a copy of your personal data;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use it, including objecting to direct marketing at any time;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, for example by changing your cookie settings.
To use any of these rights, email hello@novixdigital.co.uk. We'll respond within one month. There's normally no charge.
9. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We only use non-essential cookies if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

10. Keeping your data safe
The site uses HTTPS encryption, access to submissions is limited to people who need it, and our accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
11. Children
Our services are for businesses and this site isn't intended for anyone under 18.
12. Complaints
